CRTC MISSION

To prepare students with the skills to succeed in postsecondary education and in the workplace of their chosen career.

A BRIEF HISTORY

The Concord Regional Technical Center, located at Concord High School, hosts nine surrounding area high schools including Bow, Concord, Hillsboro-Deering, Hopkinton, John Stark Regional, Kearsarge Regional, Merrimack Valley, Pembroke Academy and Pittsfield Middle High School. Pittsfield Middle High School has been partnered with Concord High School since the Fall of 1982 when it was called the Concord Regional Vocational Center. Since inception, there have been approximately ten programs offered each year. These programs have transformed over the years, to remain current as the industry demands. The Concord Regional Technical Center has since become a CTE (career and technical educational center) which is a partnership between the federal government, high schools, post-secondary institutions and industry. It focuses on career preparation and training in high school and college. Students who complete the two year program are expected to demonstrate proficiency at the industry, higher education and CTE-NH approved skills (both hard and soft skills) associated with their chosen program.
