How We Measure Success in Pittsfield Schools

The success of Pittsfield schools is measured in multiple ways:

  • State Accountability Reports (NH DOE iPlatform) – Student achievement, growth, attendance, and graduation rates.

  • District Goals – Annual goals set by the School Board and administration that track progress in learning, climate, and fiscal stewardship.

  • NEASC Accreditation – Independent review of Pittsfield Middle High School by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

  • Student Outcomes – College, career, military, and workforce participation after graduation.

By combining these measures, we ensure that success is defined not just by test scores, but by the opportunities and readiness of every Pittsfield student.
