DUAL ENROLLMENT COURSES PROVIDE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN BOTH HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE CREDIT! TUITION FOR THESE COURSES IS GREATLY REDUCED, THEREFORE, STUDENTS HAVE THE ABILITY TO GET AN ACADEMIC AND FINANCIAL HEAD START ON THEIR FUTURE!

Pittsfield Middle High School offers Early College At Your High School, a program where students can take a course at our school and earn high school credit as well as college credit through NHTI. Currently, PMHS offers five Early College At Your High School courses: Composition (English 12), Introduction to Literature, Psychology, College Algebra (Grades 11 and 12) and Calculus. Please see our PMHS Program of Studies 2023-2024 for the course descriptions. The cost of each Early College course is $150. Tuition assistance for qualifying families is available, and a monthly payment plan option is provided for those families who do not qualify for tuition assistance. Students will sign up for Running Start at the start of each school year.

Students may also take dual enrollment courses online through the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS).

VLACS offers dual enrollment courses through the eStart program. Students who successfully complete an eStart course will earn high school credit as well as college credit through the Community College System of New Hampshire!
