PES students in  p.e. classes are currently participating Jump Rope for Heart.

Pearl Chagnon of Pittsfield celebrated her 90th birthday with the Pittsfield Elementary School staff on Monday, December 20.  Mrs. Chagnon worked as a school secretary and cafeteria worker from 1987 to 2007.  She regularly volunteers at the school.

Pittsfield Elementary families donated a total of 798 items, weighing 840 pounds, for donation to the Pittsfield Food Pantry.

On Wednesday November 11, over sixty dads, granddads, and other male relations came to the PES library for donuts and books.

  During the early-release day in September, PES staff practiced science fieldwork, collecting data on life in the school’s backyard.
