All About Me

Hi! My name is Kelly Marble. I live in New Hampshire with my husband, Steve, and my two dogs, Guinness and Sophie. This is my fourth year teaching first grade at Pittsfield Elementary School, but I have additional experience teaching each grade, from K-8. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and I am currently working towards my Master of Education degree, with a concentration in literacy and language arts. I am excited to be a part of this program because I feel it will help me in my classroom, working with six and seven year-olds, to differentiate my instruction in teaching them how to read and write.

At school, I enjoy being actively involved in committees such as the Core Writing Group, the Recycling Team, and the Safety/Response Team. I have had the pleasure of working with a small team on the newly improved school website, and the E2T2 team to apply for and receive the ARRA grant for new technology in our classrooms.

At home, I love to go hiking with my husband and dogs, I am certified at scuba diving, and I have enjoyed the elation and thrill of skydiving. When I need to relax, I love to pick up a paintbrush and create images of flowers and various landscapes, or curl up with a warm blanket (or cool air conditioning) and a good book.
