Welcome to the PMHS Art Page September 2013 It’s great to be back for another  year of art activities at Pittsfield Middle High School.  My hope is to guide students in learning visual art skills and personal expression by creating inspired works of art. I believe: A quality art education can help develop a student’s visual language….

On Monday, August 29, PMHS will host an Open House from 4:30-6:00 p.m. to welcome all students and families. Seventh and ninth grade orientation will run concurrently starting at 4:30 p.m. An overview of the orientation process and schedule will be mailed home to families in early August.

Advisory-  Be looking for student lead conference post cards coming home soon.  They will have dates and times for scheduling conferences with your students.

8th grade art students recently created a 7 foot drawing of Zeus for the Middle school Greek and Roman Festival. Each art student was responsible  for drawing a segment of the picture in creating this large work of art.
