We will store supplies in community bins for everyone&#8217;s use, and everyone will have access to the same supplies for their work.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#4f6228; font-family:ZB Manuscript; font-size:16pt\">There are many reasons for having community supplies in a classroom: This system helps foster a sense that the classroom and everything in it belong to everyone; it helps children learn how to share and cooperate; it cuts down on competitiveness; and it ensures that all children have what they need.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#4f6228; font-family:ZB Manuscript; font-size:16pt\">Please bring in supplies from home <span style=\"text-decoration:underline\"><em>only<\/em><\/span> if you are willing to donate them to the class for everyone to share.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#4f6228; font-family:ZB Manuscript; font-size:16pt\">A wish list of needed supplies you can contribute to the class is as follows:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 72pt\">\n<li><span style=\"color:#4f6228; font-family:ZB Manuscript; font-size:16pt\">Tissues for the classroom<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#4f6228; font-family:ZB Manuscript; font-size:16pt\">Disinfectant wipes for the classroom<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#4f6228; font-family:ZB Manuscript; font-size:16pt\">Ziploc bags for the classroom (any size)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#4f6228; font-family:ZB Manuscript; font-size:16pt\">Hand sanitizer<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This year, our classroom will rely on community supplies.
